Our Approach
Who I Am
I'm Sean Gallagher — a commercial architectural photographer based in Dallas, Texas, with nearly three decades of experience documenting buildings, interiors, and hospitality spaces across the country. I've worked with architecture firms, interior designers, commercial developers, hospitality brands, and publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Architectural Digest. My clients hire me when the images need to do real work — earn a design award, land in a magazine, close a lease, or define a firm's portfolio for the next decade. I'm a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and hold a Part 107 certification for licensed drone operations.
How I Work
Every project starts with a conversation about your goals — whether that's an AIA award submission, an editorial pitch, or imagery for a lease-up campaign. From there, I study the drawings, review the material palette, and plan around natural light. On set, I work methodically: precise framing, controlled exposure, and patience with the light. Post-production is handled in-house, and final files are delivered formatted for every intended use — print, web, competition submission, or press kit. I encourage clients to be present on set, but I can also execute autonomously when that serves the project better.
The Process

Concept
The beginning of creating any visual media always starts with an idea. We can help you refine that concept to the optimal outcome.

Plan
Every great photo shoot begins with pre-production, which is a fancy way of saying planning. While we have a sleeve full of lighting tricks, natural lighting is the single most important factor in architectural & interior photography. Proper planning allows us to most effectively use time on set and capture the best lighting for the space or building, for the benefit of the location, budget and most importantly, image quality.

Capture / Execute
This is a fancy way of saying photo shoot. We consider everything we learned in pre-production and make some great images!
Post-Production & Delivery of Final Assets
We harness the power of Photoshop and other digital tools to achieve perfect color & tonal quality and to eliminate unwanted distractions.
