Educational and government architecture represents some of the most civic-minded and community-defining work that architects produce — and it deserves photography that reflects that ambition. Sean Gallagher Photography has documented K–12 schools, university buildings, libraries, municipal facilities, and government buildings across Texas, working with the architecture firms, school districts, and public agencies that commission and own these projects.

Photography of educational and civic buildings involves specific logistical considerations: coordinating around school schedules, working within the constraints of occupied public buildings, and capturing spaces designed to serve diverse populations across many years of use. Our approach to this work respects those realities while prioritizing the architectural intent behind each project. We photograph exteriors and interiors with equal care, document circulation and gathering spaces, and deliver images suited to award submissions — including AIA design awards — publications, and institutional communications. Images from this portfolio have supported multiple AIA Texas award submissions and been featured in architectural press covering civic design in the Dallas–Fort Worth region.
